Dr Hemant Vanmali

Dr Hemant Vanmali is an experienced General Practitioner and Emergency Medicine doctor with over 30 years of clinical experience across hospital and general practice settings in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Dr Vanmali completed his MBBS at the University of Adelaide in 1989 and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012. Alongside his extensive career in general practice, he has maintained a strong involvement in emergency medicine.

With a background spanning emergency departments, physician training, rural and regional medicine, and general practice, Dr Vanmali brings broad clinical expertise to patient care. He is particularly experienced in acute medicine and the diagnosis and management of complex and chronic medical conditions.

Dr Vanmali has a strong interest in patient education and believes that informed patients achieve better health outcomes. He works collaboratively with patients to build a strong therapeutic partnership, empowering them to understand their conditions, participate in decision-making, and take an active role in managing their health.
