My Medicare

Choose Our Clinic as Your Preferred Healthcare Provider

If you regularly visit our clinic, you can register with MyMedicare and nominate us as your preferred healthcare provider.

MyMedicare is a free and voluntary Australian Government program designed to strengthen the relationship between patients, their GP and their regular general practice. By registering, you'll support more connected, continuous care and may be eligible for additional Medicare-funded services and benefits.

Why Register with MyMedicare?

Choosing a regular GP and medical centre can help you receive more personalised and coordinated healthcare.

Benefits of registering may include:

  • Better continuity of care with your preferred GP and healthcare team
  • Improved support for patients with chronic and complex health conditions
  • Access to longer Medicare-funded telehealth consultations with your regular practice when clinically appropriate
  • Enhanced support for patients living in residential aged care
  • Access to future MyMedicare initiatives and benefits introduced by the Australian Government

You can still attend other medical centres when needed, but MyMedicare recognises your preferred clinic for ongoing care.

Who Can Register?

You may be eligible to register if you:

  • Have a valid Medicare card or Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Veteran Card
  • Have attended our clinic for:
    • Two face-to-face appointments in the previous 24 months; or
    • One face-to-face appointment if you are:
      • Under 16 years of age
      • Experiencing homelessness
      • Living in a residential aged care facility
