Physiotherapy Services

Our physiotherapists help people of all ages who are affected by injury, disability, or health conditions to optimise movement and function, promoting long-term wellbeing and quality of life.

Using proven physiotherapy techniques, we aim to support recovery, prevent future problems, and help you achieve your health and lifestyle goals. Treatment may include manual therapy, tailored exercise programs, rehabilitation following surgery or injury, and strategies for managing persistent pain.

Meet The Physiotherapists

Jo McLean: Jo brings over 10 years of experience across acute care, post-surgical rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy in 2015 and has worked in both major public hospitals and private practice, treating clients from diverse backgrounds.

Her areas of interest include persistent pain management, post-surgical and orthopaedic rehabilitation, and shoulder dysfunction. Jo has also completed additional training through the Australian Physiotherapy Association in Sports, Women’s Health, and Pilates.

Outside of the clinic, Jo enjoys swimming, gardening, creative projects, and spending time with her family.

Vim Arachchige: Vim graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Having been a swimmer for many years, he developed a strong understanding of sports-related injuries and their management.

His treatment approach combines manual therapy, joint mobilisation, trigger point release, dry needling, and personalised exercise prescription to support recovery and prevent recurrence.

Beyond physiotherapy, Vim enjoys keeping active at the gym, swimming, and has a passion for motorsport—particularly vintage European cars and Formula 1.

After Hours

In case of any life-threatening medical accident or emergency, patients should always contact an ambulance immediately on 000.

After-hours, emergency and urgent treatment is available at Gawler Health Service Accident & Emergency Department.

For out of hours medical advice, please call the National Home Doctor Service 13 74 25.

Gawler GP Inc. does not bulk bill and a fee will apply. On-call responsibilities are shared between doctors from several practices in the Gawler area. You may therefore not be attended by one of the doctors from this practice. Patients presenting at the Gawler Health Service are attending a private outpatient service and will be billed by the attending doctor.
